Pho Nhi tea is the post-fennenation tea which is long preseved and useful for human health. The results in researching on Pho Nhi tea processing technologies from 2009-2010 showed: Tea materials from both selected and mixed Shan varieties were appropriate for processing Pho Nhi tea. Of which, tea materials from Ha Giang mountainous regions produced better tea quality compared to tea materials provided from Yen Bai and Phu Tho; the most appropriate duration time for composting heap was 30 days; concentration of vital chemicals was decreased and emerged useful bio-organizms like Chiness Pho Nhi tea, mainly Aspergillus niger with 70-80 percent; the most effective drying method for Pho Nhi tea was kept under nonnal natural temperature.
